Earprotection
Added: 12:52 20.03.2008
To Whom it may concern; I am an agency worker in the demolishion working with the CIS card. I recently pierced my eardrum by trying to correct the position of my earplugs which kept on falling out of my ears. I know that everything is my own responsebility, but it is not easy to go to the shop when you work from 7:30 till 17:30. I started work on Friday 17/03/08 and was told to bring the PPE. PPE meaning Hardhat,Protective boots and Highvisuality clothing. Had I been asked to bring Eye and Ear protection I would have brought it to work. I went to ask and I've got provided with protective goggles and ear plugs to make the protection complete. I should have been safe. Fact is that I should have been provided with or given the time and patience to provide my own Earprotection. Earprotection meaning no earplugs but a way of protection which doesn't carry the risk of piercing my eardrum or falling out of my ears when applying. I would be very pleased if someone could advise me on this matter. Thanks J.H.Blauwgeers E mail: KRAAIIE@YAHOO.IE Mobile:07880914908
