Hi Chris

Having done an NVQ 4 when they first came out about 10 years ago (which I paid for myself) and then carried on to gain various diploma's while in employment, my experience is that by far the best route - is to go for gold. Within EHS you can/will spend half your working life collecting certificates, diploma's and going to seminars etc. as I did, with very little - other than experience - to show for it.

Once I had gained my MSc my whole work/life changed, the world became my oyster.

I spent 12 months looking at every University that did them and eventually I am please to say I made the right choice and took my MSc at Leicester University.

        Hi Dave, thanks for replying. I presume you would advise Leicester University then, what does the masters degree entail?? I have not gained a lot from the NVQ 4 to be honest so was thinking of doing the NEBOSH Diploma ...
