Falling safe results in fine

Essex-based Terry O'Connor Security Services has been fined £15,000 plus £30,000 costs at Plymouth Crown Court after one of its employees was killed by a falling safe. Alan Sewell was removing the safe from a bank branch in Plymouth, Devon, in 2003 when it slipped down a flight of stairs, crushing him against a wall.
