The gangmaster in charge of at least 21 workers who drowned while picking cockles in Morecambe Bay in 2004 has been jailed for 14 years. Lin Liang Ren was convicted of manslaughter at Preston Crown Court and handed the longest sentence to date for a work-related killing.
