The Health and Safety Executive/Local Authorities Enforcement Liaison Committee (HELA) has published a new edition of local authority circular LAC94, Advice Regarding Call Centre Working Practices. LAC94/2 replaces LAC94/1(rev) and is a major revision of the earlier guidance. LAC94/2 is available at www.hse.gov.uk/lau/lacs/94-2.htm For more on risk management in call centres, see the feature on page 18 of November's HSW.
