Vibration limits take effect

News | HSW
12.08.2007

For equipment provided after this date, employers must comply with the limits specified in the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations, but for equipment provided before 6 July the limits do not take effect until 2010.

Starting this month, EEF and the HSE are running a series of surgeries where companies can share their experiences of complying with the Regulations and where HSE specialists will offer practical advice.

See www.hse.gov.uk/vibration/hav/newsandevents.htm for more details.
