HSE to amend approved poster
News | HSP
20.05.2008
The HSE is consulting on changes to the approved poster employers must display in the workplace detailing basic health and safety information for employees.
A recent review of the poster found it was "unappealing" and that employees rarely read it.
The HSE is proposing new posters and leaflets that don't require updating by employers but still provide all relevant information for employees.
Under the proposals, businesses would still be able to display the existing poster, as long as contact information and other details remain up-to-date.
The consultation document (CD 218) is available here.
Responses are required by 11 August.
