Shops and offices in London's  Soho were evacuated by emergency services on 1 October, following reports of a toxic chemicals spill. Firefighters cordoned off several streets, before tracing the fumes to the Thai Cottage restaurant, which was preparing a large batch of its extra-hot chilli sauce.
