News | HSW
01.08.2006

One-third of GPs polled by Norwich Union Healthcare reported a big increase in the number of people they sign off work for seven days or more. Most of the 250 doctors surveyed (94%) blamed employers for not looking after workers' health. The survey also asked 214 human resources managers about employees' health problems, and found that 70% do not see their workforces' health as their responsibility.
