Aberdare Magistrates' Court has fined Parkcare Homes £8,000 plus £10,608 costs after a resident suffered a broken arm while being lifted out of a bath. The incident happened in November 2004 at Willows Nursing Home in Perthcelyn, Mid Glamorgan. Parkcare Homes pleaded guilty to charges under Section 3(1) of the Health and Safety at Work Act.
