Quarry firm failed to check PPE was being worn

A quarrying company has been fined after a worker who was not wearing his head protection sustained serious injuries when he was hit by a 30kg lump of sandstone.
The incident happened in March 2007 at Wildmoor Quarry Products' site in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
