Roofer fined

A roofing contractor has been fined a total of £3,750 plus £2,000 costs by Liverpool magistrates for allowing employees to work on a roof without adequate edge protection and for not having first-aid equipment on site. Rogers Roofing also allowed its employees to operate a tile-cutting machine without eye protection.
