New DSE site launched

News | HSP
04.03.2008

The HSE has launched a new display screen equipment (DSE) site to mark RSI Awareness Day, which took place last Friday.

The new site features guidance on working with visual display units (VDUs), a list of frequently asked questions, information on the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations, checklists and case studies.

The case studies include reducing upper limb disorders among office staff who "hot desk" and risk assessing the impact of new software on RSI (repetitive strain injury) levels.

The site also provides specific advice on call centre working practices.

The new DSE site can be accessed at here.
