HSE publishes annual report

News | HSP
27.06.2008

The HSE has published its annual report, detailing progress against key targets, its financial position and a summary of its own health and safety performance.

The 2007/08 report, Moving Forward, includes an update on progress against the Revitalising Health and Safety targets; information on the Fit3 programme; and a review of recent campaigns, such as the Hidden Killer asbestos campaign.

The report reveals that the HSE is on track to achieve incident-reduction targets for its own staff: the organisation has recorded a fall in incidents leading to injury for the second year running, with a "marked decrease" in slip and trip incidents.

The HSE annual report is available to download here.
