Lighter regulation questions

News | HSW
12.12.2007

The Government has launched a public consultation exercise as part of its review of health and safety regulation designed to lighten burdens on low-risk businesses, especially SMEs.

The Better Regulation Executive (BRE) is looking for comments on questions such as: "Are there health and safety requirements that do not make sense to you?"

The questions are at http://bre.berr.gov.uk/regulation/reform/health_
safety/index.asp and the BRE wants responses by 31 January, to Ben.Davison@berr.gsi.gov.uk
